1 in 2 sexually active young people will get an STD by the age of 25. Most won’t know it.
Since STDs often show no symptoms, many of those who are infected don't know it. The only way to know if you or a partner has an STD is to get tested.
All STDs are treatable, and many are curable. But, left untreated many can have lasting health effects including infertility, increased risk of cancer, and even death.
